Why do you need a Local Area Network?

• Local Area Networks are a way to share data amongst computers in your office or home.  The networks are either connected by physical cables or can communicate using wireless signals.
   

• Through your network, you can have access to files and printers that reside in different parts of your office or home.
   

• Sharing an internet connection is another possibility with a local area network.  You will be able to split your incoming internet signal to multiple computers and save monthly internet costs.

Home and Home Office Networks are hard wired networks running between multiple computers through network switches.  We can implement full networks so that you will be able to share files and printers with all the computers in you local area network.  We can also install home routers to split incoming internet signals to all of your home computers.

Wireless Networks:

Wireless Networks are a great and low cost solution for your networking needs.  Not only do they allow users to be mobile with their computers, they are lower in cost to implement since cable is not required to be installed.  The only disadvantage is that the speed of a wireless network is slower than a hard-wired environment. However, it is still fast enough so that you would not be able to see the difference while surfing the web.  Imagine surfing the web from the comfort of your couch!
